Holmside has recently been completely remodeled to ensure that our residents live in the most comfortable surroundings.Elderly & Dementia Care
As well as providing residential care for the elderly, we also offer a fully integrated, dementia friendly environment and our staff are both highly trained and experienced in this area.Executive en-suite rooms
Our brand new executive en-suite rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All bedrooms have nurse call systems and can be furnished to your individual preference. Residents can bring with them personal possessions which can be accommodated safely. 32inch TV's are available for each room. Furniture is modern and comfortable to meet our residents requirements and bathrooms have handrails and aids to assist residents.We Care
Staff will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all our residents with a warm and caring atmosphere, and in so doing will be sensitive to each resident’s ever changing needs. Such needs may be medical, therapeutic, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social.We Are A Family
At Holmside we are one big happy family and there are experienced staff on duty within the home 24 hours a day. Nothing is too much trouble for our team and we really do enjoy seeing our residents settle into their new lives with us, making new friends and enjoying all of the services and care we have to offer.We also encourage regular visits from families and friends and when a visit isn't possible, maintain contact by telephone as we find that this can have a really positive impact on the residents state of mind & overall well-being.

I settled the first day I came here. It’s definitely home from home, I have been here for years and I could not be better cared for, everyone’s so lovely.
The meals are especially lovely, if I don’t want what is on the menu I can ask for something else and I always get it. Marvellous staff, marvellous food and marvellous surroundings.
When my friend of 40 years moved into full time care I was worried that we would never see each other. What I didn’t expect was that my family had arranged to take me to Holmsides Day Care facility twice a week so we can still have a cup of tea together and a good old natter.
Absolutely delighted with the level of care my Dad has received from the team at Holmside. Putting him into full time residential care was an extremely difficult decision for the family but seeing how happy he is there has made it so much easier for us.
